Our team

The SCI Semiconductor team has decades of leadership experiance in technology, intellectual property and chip development, and product cyber resilience expertise. In fact, we would claim no other team has impacted the product cyber security domain as much as our team, from defining the technologies and products the world relies on today, through to supporting and guiding product security legislation.

Haydn Povey - Chief Executive

Haydn Povey

With over 30 years experiance in the technology domain Haydn has unparalledl experiance in microprocessor IP, cyber security, and real world cyber-physcial systems.

Having led the introduction of Arm Cortex-M processors he subsequently led the  Processor Divisions security technologies, including TrustZone & SecurCore

He is a founder board member of the IoT Security Foundation. 

Director of System Architecture

David Chisnall

As Director of Systems Architecture David leads the long-term evolution of the CHERIoT platform. He has worked on CHERI since 2012, including creating the first CHERI C compiler.

David is also a Visiting Researcher at the University of Cambridge, where he collaborates closely on CHERI and related technologies

VP Engineering

David Jackson

As Vice President of Engineering (VPEng) David  leads the implementation of hardware and  systems. He owns the design, implementation and verification of their CHERIoT based devices 

David is also a Research Fellow at the University of Manchester, where he has led critical research on CHERI and Morello based systems.

Finance

Mark Long

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mark brings decades of financial expertise and rigour to the organization. An expert in deep-tech startup funding and operations Mark has worked with several sucessful small orgniazations, as well as industry giants, including NXP.

Working closely with many of the cities leading technology companies, consultancies and academic institutions, including the world renowned  Cambridge Computer Labs, at the University of Cambridge, we sit at the centre of the next generation of compute.

SCI are pleased ot be opening office space in Sheffield, South Yorkshire as part of our commitment to hiring the right people outside of the Oxford-Cambridge arc.
